• In Brazil, the training of veterinarians in the system of monitoring transmissible nervous character diseases in bovine cattle;
  
• Improvement of the system of traceability according to European norms for bovine raw material approved for Gelatine industries.
  
• Assistance to Brazilian authorities in negotiations with the European Community in order to set up a system of sanitary equivalence;
  
• Ringtest – evaluation of Gelatine analysis methods of SAGMA members through the gained results;
  
• Participation of SAGMA’s president at the GMIA meeting and the worldwide associations' meeting in Malta (2001);
  
• A survey of statistical data related to the South American Gelatine industry;
  
• Harmonization of the procedures for Bloom measurement.
  
• Elaboration of the Code of Conduct in refrence to raw material.
